This is why we don’t make it to the NFL

A phrase used to describe instances of failure in a person(s). The term was originally coined when many football players were not being accepted into the NFL due to not meeting proper requirements.

Mike: “dude I can’t hang out today, I’m grounded for failing my math class”

Jeremy: “Dammit Mike, This is why we don’t make it to the NFL”
