Mountain mush

A sudden state of mental confusion or forgetfulness experienced by a retired individual after living in the countryside mountains for an extended period of time.

Loree: "I don't see the pickles in the grocery bag."
Bill: "Oooh I must've had a bad case of a mountain mush. I totally forgot!"
