A terrible or psychopathic ex-lover whom you don't even want to mention in the same sentence as the word "lover". Literally, a bad love.

I had this malamour that was so toxic I had to move to a different city!

A person who needs a lot of variety in their lives.

S/he was a varietist who had to keep getting more (objects, people, experiences) because one just wasn't good enough.
