fuzzy dog

"Fuzzy dog" describes a situation in which the proper solution or conclusion is not easily seen or accomplished; an alternative to "sticky situation".

Andy: what did we go over in class today?
Rebecca: The problem of induction.

Andy: Man, that's a fuzzy dog.
