This term originated from the carribean but found its way to the streets of the uk where it is widely used), Meaning a group of homosexuals, Usually used by a gay person when referencing his/her circle of homosexual friends however it can be used humorously to infer another groups lack of "Straight" attributes.

"Nah i cant make it tonight i'm going out with my Gay Dems.

"Do you know that group of guys over there, Who, That bunch of Gay Dems.
