splooch

To spill something or the mark the substance makes once it has spilled. Derived from splash which applies to thin liquids, splooch sounds more like a thick liquid.

As I added the can of whole tomatoes to the pot, I splooched on the stove. Just as I was going to lick my ice cream cone a blob fell off and made a splooch down the front of my shirt.
