Autumn Pants

A general term for Thermal Underwear or Long Johns that is worn casually inside any pants as a base layer. It originated from the Chinese upper class dressing conventions in the early 60s, that layering comfortable base layer for both upper and lower body is a sign of high standard lifestyle. The word literally refers to the 'pants' worn in 'autumn', as autumn is when the weather start to turn cold and people start to wear this. Chinese term '秋裤'.

It is freezing cold in Chicago these days, don't forget to wear your autumn pants when you go outside.
