OSC

"One Shot Color"
A term common in circles of astrophotography, it is a reference to colored camera sensors as opposed to monochromatic camera sensors which require filters and stacking to produce colored images

Yes, a dedicated cooled astro camera would be my first choice, maybe get an OSC one if you are used to that sort of framework and don't want to "shuffle" things too much.
