Skål

The Norwegian and Swedish word for "cheers". Almost only used when drinking alcohol, and rarely used when thanking someone for something like how the english "cheers" is often used.

Skål for the new year!

sweet spot

When you're the perfect amount of intoxicated by any substance or drug. Not too high/drunk, but not too sober either.

How was the party last night?
It was perfect, I stayed in the sweet spot all night.

Last man standing

When you're the last one at the party who hasn't either passed out or left.

Yo, how was the party last night?
It was fun, I was the last man standing though.
