Once souls connect this way people do not need to see each other often or even be together to fell connected; however, being apart causes pain or melancholy. Though nearly unbearable, this sweet ache of missing each other is the balance for such a pure connection.

Her first words to him lit up his mind. Her voice deepened when his hand brushed hers. They felt this soulsrush even when they went about their lives, separate but connected.
