Second of the minor Hebrew prophets of the 5th century, contemporary of King Manasseh of Judah.

In the modern era, Joels have tended to forget the "minor" part, often becoming overly self-enamored and indulge a regrettably unsubtle aspiration to sardonic hipsterism.

I can't believe how many DKNY Joels there were at that gallery opening in SoHo.
