Also known in Holland as a "sad sad loser", a sad loser is somebody who feels confident enough to chide or mock him/herself when they do something that is considered breft, aloof or silly.

"I was walking down the street and this gorgeous woman smiled at me and stopped to talk, however I just mumbled and kept walking because I am a sad sad loser."
