Mansplaining

When a man unnecessarily explains something to a woman that is either basic knowledge or a topic the woman knows more about, and she has mentioned her knowledge on that subject to him before. Most women find this annoying (though some think it's cute, myself included, but only when he's sharing because he's genuinely excited about his knowledge on that).

A perfect example is men trying to mansplain the term "mansplaining" itself, saying that the word doesn't even exist and that only feminists use it. (Hint: check a dictionary.)
Or
Woman: Yeah, and I ate an egg this morning—
Man: Actually, did you know that chickens sit on their eggs to keep them warm until they hatch?
Woman: Mhm... yes I did.
