cast party

A cast party is a party after the closing of a theatrical production which for the most part satisfies the three major vices: sex, drugs, and alcohol. And it doesn't end until well into the next day. Although there aren't many who don't succumb to the vices, they're still free to attend and still have fun.

Person A: You going to the cast party tonight?
Person B: Yeah, I'm gonna get fucked up.

A term that was developed in Vietnam since 60% of the new recruits died in their first 3 months of service.

The senior soldiers used to name the new recruits "newbies" so that they didn't have to know the real names of the soldiers when they died in the field.
