Back up that money truck! â Financial windfall that occurs because of a random accidental situation; or, because of purposeful criminal activity. The exclamation âBack up that money truck!â is yelled the moment one gets a gander of the settlement check; or, the first pile of money made from successful illegal activity.
1) My car got rear ended by a city bus going up hill on a sunny day at high noon! LAWSUIT!!!!!! Back up that money truck!
2) All of those knock off designer bags got sold and no one got caught. Everyone came back with pockets so swole with money; their asses looked like they had THE MUMPS!!!!! Re-up on the gear!!!! And then, Back up that money truck!

Iâm allergic to glib. â a glib response inspired by the style of the playwright Bertoldt Brecht that foregrounds the apparatus of glibness used as a counter offensive weapon.
This is a 21st century technique derived from the of 20th century insult of introducing a landline interlocutor to your friend âclickâ and hanging up a phone rapidly terminating a conversation.
Because of the way we now communicate, âsnarkâ is the âword play of choiceâ. And many people have become âkeyboard commandos and combatantsâ.
Often a dismissive rejoinder is required to reply in as few characters as possible based on 21st century attention spans and mediums of choice like text or Twitter and Facebook.
âIâm allergic to glibâ is a wonderful way to terminate an electronic conversation while simultaneously dismissing the âsnark-erâ.
Like most comebacks, ultimately, this will become overused (see speak to the hand); so, use it while it lasts.
The good news is that if one uses and studies the writings of Bertoldt Brecht ; then, the only limit to creatively generating Brecht-ian conversation rejoinders is individual creativity and wit.
I actually read hard copy books and stay away from electronic platforms like Facebook and Twitter because Iâm allergic to glib.
