So-go

Sogo is short for "I am sorry, you go ahead". Can be used when 2 people speak over each other or almost bump into each other while walking. Saves a lot of airtime and awkwardness by saying so-go.

John and Jane speak over each other at the same time and pause for each other at the same time - until one says "I am sorry go ahead" or So-go. So-go can also be applied to when you're walking and almost bump into a stranger and instead of picking opposite paths, you both take the same step in either direction, causing an awkward moment. At this point one can remain where they are and say "so-go" and the other person choses which step to take and break the tie.
