To ruin your current running base line of code, by assuming a feature should work another way. Never fully listening to your project lead and arguing with him about mundane details to make one for better about himself/herself

Person 1: Did you ever make the changes to the stored proc?
Person 2: yea but i updated a different table, it should work better this way.
