Muay Thai is a very close quarters art, using a lot of knees and elbows, usually in which either one or both fighters end up with fucked up faces.

Taekwondo fighter: *does some fancy ass kick*
Muay Thai fighter: *simply blocks and throws an overhand right and a knee to the face and knocks him clean the fuck out*
