Sit of shame

The moment when the light turns red, you are stuck in the middle of the intersection, and everyone coming in the other direction is forced to stop and stare at you blocking their way.

"C'mon, c'mon, move, move. Dammit, they got the green light. Now I guess I have to do the sit of shame. Maybe I should turn and mouth the word 'sorry' to them."
