To be victimized or wronged by the company or boss you work for. The term originated from Enron, a Texas company that collapsed due to corporate scandal leaving thousands of investors and employees in financial ruin.

We came to work one day and the manager told us the company was closing shop and we could go home. We got enroned with no warning and no severance pay.

There is a long line at the unemployment office today. There must be a lot of enronians from that closed plant filing applications.
