The combination or "stack" of web technologies to make a web application using the following: MongoDB, Express, Redux/React, Node.js

The MERN stack helps us put together responsive and smart applications quickly and can scale nicely even to handle lots of traffic. It caught popularity after the MEAN stack which differs only in that it uses Angular instead of React.
