Luxury on a very small or temporary scale, usually due to budget restrictions.

I just turned my air condition down to 50 so I could drink some hot coffee in the afternoon. That's micro balling.

We are going micro balling in Vegas for 3 days. I saved all year for that weekend.

The gaming equivalent of being side tracked, distracted. Becoming obsessed with an object or person because you irrationally believe that it will somehow be to your benefit later.

Billy was going to slay the evil dragon, but he was side quested by a meaningless glowing rock in the forest before he could get around to it.
