Neve

A British manufacturer of mixing consoles founded by Rupert Neve. Neve consoles were used to record many of the most successful albums of the 20th century. Arguably the most successful microphone preamp in history, the Neve 1073, was originally a module designed for use in a console. Sadly, many Neve 80xx series consoles have been parted out for their precious modules.

Rupert Neve is a genius.

Molly

She's very smart, drop-dead gorgeous and unnaturally strong. She's always honest and doesn't take shit from anyone. She can be sweet when appropriate, but is always intense.

That strong-looking girl with black hair? Yeah, that's Molly. She might break your wrist if you make her angry.

Sonyism

Strange design philosophies used by engineers at Sony that do not align with the rest of the world. Includes the unnecessary use of proprietary connectors, extremely unusual interfaces, and reinventing the wheel to be heptagonal.

Despite costing $25,000, this piece of Sony equipment utilizes inferior proprietary connectors and other Sonyisms.
