prep

Someone who cares about superficial things more than things that really matter, such as clothes, looks and popularity. These people are usually, although not always, of the less intellegent variety

Stereotypical Prep: OMG! I got a new HOLLISTER shirt that SO shows off my butt!!!
Goth: But did you see my new fishnet shirt and black boots? I AM SO DARK!!!!
Skater: OH! But I got some new VANS!!!! I AM SO SWEET!! OMG!!!!
Quizznotik: You're all preps, you are just different kinds of preps... Hypocrites... -_-;

Atheist

Someone who simply does not believe in a supreme being. These people usually believe that the universe was created not by godly hands, but from natural, scientifically proven occurances that took place over the ages, although there is not neccessarily a set belief. Atheism is not a set religion, but rather simply the belief that there is no god(s).

Commonly related to Satanism, or the worshipping of Satan. However, this is impossible due to the fact that since an Atheist does not believe in God, therefore not believing in Satan, it is impossible for one to be a Satanic follower.

Also, a common stereotype is that Atheists are pompous, arrogant, and immoral people. This is definately not true, as I know many atheists that do volunteer work and such all the time, and are quite nice.

Atheist: Hi, I'm an atheist.
Christian: So you worship Satan?
Atheist: No, I don't believe in Satan, let alone worship him...
Christian: Well, you're still a worthless human being who does nothing with his time besides holding Satanic sacrifices.
Atheist: ... o_O;

Ctrl+Alt+Del

1. A combination of keys used in most Windows operating system to open the task manager, most notably used for closing programs which are for some reason difficult otherwise. Has other features that no one ever uses though.

2. A gaming webcomic created by Tim Buckley often with associated other webcomics such as 8-Bit Theater, Penny Arcade, and VG Cats. However, many consider it to be inferior to the forementioned webcomics due to the fact that it often steals jokes and ideas from them. It is also considered to be a lot more commercialistic than the others. Overall, it isn't too bad though.

1. After attempting to run Windows Media Player, Battlefield 2, Doom 3, and Norton Antivirus all at the same time, my computer 'asploded and I had to use Ctrl+Alt+Del to to put it out of its mysery.

2. All hail Ethan, king of Winter-een-mas!

fate

The series of events that has taken place from the beginning of time and will be that way until the end of it. Everything in the future can be known if you know everything about the present. That's because every single thing happens for a reason, specifically some factor of the past. I am writing this definition because I was bored. I was bored because there was nothing to do. There was nothing to do because no one was home and/or online to talk to. etc. Absolutely every single event is predictable through cause and effect. If you knew absolutely every single factor effecting a situation, then you would know exactly what the outcome would be. Whatever the universe was created by, the very first event that started it started a chain reaction that will last forever through the magic of cause and effect. Blah. I'm rambiling. If you don't know what I'm talking about by now then meh.

Almost the only thing that could contradict fate is if you believe in true free will. I personally don't. Nobody has free will. All your actions are determined by your personality and experiences. Your personality comes from your parents. Your experiences come from the outside world. Your parents and the outside world came from the creation of the universe. So if "God" or what have you, knew exactly everything about what he was creating, then how could he not know exactly every single thing that people would do and how the future would unfold? So if it's possible to predict the future without error by knowing everything about the present, then wouldn't fate have to be true? Actually, I wouldn't mind getting emailed if someone wants to argue with me or something =P lol
