r/kothibanglacheck

A joke used mostly on reddit to call someone out for flexing/bragging intentionally or unintentionally. It's commented on posts where the users are found to be doing those acts.

Origin: It is a (still running) sub reddit on the website reddit. The name of this subreddit was posted as a reply on post where people intentionally or unintentionally talked about expensive things they own/have.

The word "kothi bangla" is a Hindi slang from the country India, which means a big mansion. This slang is used to symbolise wealth and prosperity.

Commenting this on a post would mean that they're calling the OP out for bragging/flexing. The use of the word is completely regarded as a joke and is not a serious call.

The slang is mainly used by indians, nepalis, Bangladeshis, Pakistanis and Sri lankan redditors.

wayyy

used to emphasize the sentence. An aberration of the word 'way'

Originated from the English word 'way' which means a method, style, or manner of doing something.

Could be written as 'wayyyy', 'wayyyy', etc. The amount of y symbolises the amount of emphasis on the sentence.

Hey man, George's car is wayyy bigger than mine!

Smooth brainer

A slang used to call someone dumb, stupid, of low IQ, etc.

Origin: As the amounts of folds on the cerebrum of a mammal brain determines the intelligence of the being, having no folds would mean that they have on intelligence.

Ignore them, they're just some smooth brainers
