Matty

Meaning: "Mute; Ain't Talking To You". Used in gaming and social situations, "Matty" simply means "butt out".

Mostly used in the context of when you're having a conversation, and a third party (regardless of affiliation) tries to force their way in / interject their opinion.

Bob: "I'm just saying, he had to do what he did to save face."
Dwayne: "He's a multi-millionaire! Suing to 'save face' makes him look like an a-hole."
Fred (a butt-sniffing interloper who only heard the last word of the conversation): "YeAh BuTt-..."
Bob: "MATTY!"
Dwayne: "MATTY!"
Fred (clearly confused by the new, 'hip-to-the-jive' terminology): ....
Dwayne: "...As I was saying, if a celebrity worth multiple-millions of dollars has to sue a 'parody artist' to 'make ends meet'...then they're dumb, and the whole thing is stupid.

Honestly, why did I make up some sort of convoluted scenario in order to post my 'new word' to a public website? What have I become? Is this life? or is this fantasy? (Ha! You thought I'd type / say something else there, didn't you?)

... Aaaaand I bet you're now singing that very song in your head right now, right?

...Oh, you have no idea what I'm talking about? Of course you do.

And so it has been written...

...and if you're trying to "@" me right now, 'Matty' bitches, I ain't talking to you.
