A person at a company, typically in some position of authority, who appears or claims to be busy but does very little actual work.
âSalad walkerâ comes from the stereotype of the female office supervisor that eats their lunch, stereotypically a salad, on-foot because they are âtoo busyâ to sit down for lunch.
My supervisor is a salad walker. Sheâs apparently too busy to respond to our team emails, sign off on her paperwork that she tells us to do for her, or even tell us the new policy changes but is always taking time off for vacations.
