Nate

Someone who goes around claiming to be taller than they actually are.

You know George over there? He’s Nate; he claims to be 6’0”, but is actually 5’11”. It’s most likely because he’s insecure about the fact that he isn’t the tallest one in the friend group.

Degath

Degathing, as it's commonly known, is the act of beating someone up with a lobster. While degathing can be done to anyone, the word originally meant hitting a child under the age of 9 over the head with a lobster.

The word degath originated from vernacular slang around the Tampa Bay area in Florida, where the action is commonly associated with hooliganism. degathing is occasionally used as a last resort method of settling a dispute, although it's extremely rare, due to the murky legality surrounding it.

1. Person A: Hey man, how are you feeling?
Person B: Not too great, I just got degathed for calling someone a snitch.

2. You better run or imma degath you with a lobster from publix.
