When you were trying to say “excellent” and “spectacular” but it got meshed up into one word. The term is coined by a Pokémon streamer and YouTuber named Patterrz, during his dracozolt/darkrai shiny hunting stream on February 17th.

Gwum

It’s origin from a Jackbox room code, the twitch streamer FloppityPenguin (Also known as Zain) coined the term. It is usually accompanied by the year 2020, signifying a political campaign year.

Person 1: Hey, have you heard about Gwum?

Person 2: You mean the guy that’s running in 2020?
Person 1: Hell yEaH brøther
