Verb: To not be up to date with modern lingo. To not be "down with the kids", usually due to large alcohol intake.

Noun: One who is was born with a bottle of wine in their hand, but knows nothing of modern dialect.

Rebecca was a total nelson. In fact, she nelson'd the other day when somebody rofl'd at her.
