Thot is an acronym for Turtles Have One Tail. Created by Matpat's wife Steph during a live-stream in which they tried to deduce the meanings of common slang but ultimately decided this was a far better and more useful interpretation to remember anatomical facts about reptiles.

Chris: The acronym thot stands for "That Hoe Over There"
Steph: Oohhh.. and I was totally gonna go with "Turtles Have One Tail" ... In case you need a reminder!
