It is rare to come across one, but recently we were all proven that it exists. Canonically hot is when a character is officially hot, as told by the creator or in other official sources that have not been corrected statements later on. When this is confirmed, it is likely true in real life as well.
The particular reason that this definition was created was because Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aimé said himself, that Breath of the Wild's main character Link was hot.
"Link is canonically hot."
"When I make a book, at least one character will be canonically hot."
An avatar or character available on certain Nintendo devices, and now phones, used in specific games and to represent yourself. Sometimes the term can be found in the names of games that include them, such as Miitopia and Miitomo. They first appeared on the Wii, and as if now in 2017 are also present on the 3DS, Nintendo Switch, and Wii U.
"I made a mii this morning."

A theory and headcanon can be considered canon by an individual, however, not by the creator and therefore uncanon.

When you are both are a stan and white knight for somebody, you could even say you are fondling them with words.
Basically, take it one step further and you'll get a restraining order.
