Spanish for "present"; when the name of a fallen or deceased hero of the Revolución or other sacred cause is mentioned, one is supposed to shout "¡Presente!" to indicate that she or he is still present in spirit.

(adj.) Cool in an extremely laid-back way; so laid-back that it may be taken for squareness, straightness, or unconsciousness. Look at my shoes, man,' the way proles do.
