XING KONG is a contract artist of Electronic Music Informationâs sub-project DarkGlow, he is a pioneer of Chinese dubstep scene. XING KONG has produced and released original tracks or bootleg tracks since 2012, becoming one of the earliest dubstep producers and dubstep cultural popularizers in China. Since 2013, XING KONG has been the manager of Baidu Dubstep Tieba.
XING KONG also has a well-known Chinese nickname: æ空ä¸çèè
. This nickname has been officially used since 2007. In the same year, he started managing various independent forums, which laid the foundation of dubstep culture promotion years later. Previously, XING KONG also used S-Dancer, DipperX and other stage names to release tracks. Until 2019, XING KONG was adopted as his main stage name.
Since 2012, XING KONG has been outputting dubstep theory and production technical articles through independent forums, Baidu Tieba, Zhihu, NeteaseCloudMusic and other platforms.
