Saying, or staring at, a word so many times (or for so long) that it no longer seems like a word.

"I said 'gum' so many times I started whitespacing it."

(v.) when your finger slips on a smartphone, sending an emoji or character you didn't intend. (cf. typo)

Instead of sending a heart to my girlfriend, I made a slippo and sent a poop emoji.
