Wiggins

Any large patch of brush, tangled vines, undergrowth or brambles. Commonly used to refer to a pit overgrown with kudzu. Also frequently applied to briars, as wiggins is typically, but not always thorny.

"Ah, shit, our soccer ball just went into the wiggins again. I'm not getting it this time."

"I pushed him down that big hill over there."
"Was he alright?"
"Nah, he fell into a big patch of wiggins at the bottom."

"My dad made me pull up all that wiggins around his stupid vegetable garden."
