A phrase used to say I love you to a certain level. The phrase I love ya used for a Ex boyfriend/girlfriend or just a friend in general showing you care for the person but not as deep as you would your lover

“ hey girl I love ya, but we are better off friends”.

“ you have been my friend for many years, and we have been through a lot together I’m glad your still here with me love ya”.
