The phrase originally started in the Facebook group Tavern At The End Of The Internet following the propensity for a staff member always commenting âThese jokes never get old, just like Nina!â on Nina Tucker memes (from Fullmetal Alchemist). The use has expanded to being said when getting in right before the closing off point of something - getting in just before the red light, being the very last one to score a ticket for something, etc. Itâs rapidly growing in popularity across groups and even into irl situations, bamboozling friends and coworkers.
Original gag:
Step 1: See a Nina Tucker meme
Step 2: Look to see if Tim Brockway has commented âThese jokes never get old, just like Nina!â yet
Step 3: If he hasnât, then comment âIn Before The Brockwayâ. Youâve won this round! If he has, then he wins.
Step 4: Rinse and Repeat!
âFinally, Iâm in before the Brockway!â
âDamn, heâs just too quick, I never get in before the Brockwayâ

Sharkpups are fictional shark-doggo inspired creatures which are typically extremely cute. Mainly refers to the critter also known as Vress, designed by the artist of the same name.
Sharkpups are cute, inquisitive creatures who tend to get themselves into little spots of trouble, but are always forgiven for their adorableness, sweet nature, and loving personalities.
A sharkpup is happiest exploring the world around it, cuddling with somebody, or nibbling on snacks (especially tuna and pb&j treats).
âThat sharkpup is so adorable!â
âOh, what have you gotten yourself into this time sharkpup?â
