A reference to the brief, failed campaign triste between Ted Cruz and Carly Fiorina. When you're really optimistic during the week and set up a date but then the weekend comes and you realize how exhausted you are, flake and never text back.

I feel bad about Cruzing that guy from Tinder but i forgot all the work I had this week and I just needed a night in.

That Scooter's barista asked me out for drinks Saturday, but she bailed last minute saying she didn't feel well. Man I got Cruzed hard.
