Someone, usually a male relative, gives a male child the nickname "Skeet" when it becomes apparent that this boy-man personifies the essence of manliness. As adults, Skeets are usually strong, carefree life givers, who can only tame themselves.

Man 1: Hey did you see how lil' Skeet blackened that kid's eye?

Man 2: Yeah. He may be the smallest kid on the block, but he's got the biggest heart! I hope he and my boy become good friends.
