Derisive âProud-boyâ slang for Mexicans, Jewish men, and African-American (non-white) hairstyles. The term originated after Colin Kaepernicks decision to kneel during the national anthem in an National Football League (NFL) game. This decision was met with a lot of pushback from the âalt-rightâ and southern Christian community, and promptly spawned the term âcrumbly headâ, used to diminish his hairstyle and general demeanor. Since then, it has been to used to negatively describe any non-white hairstyles and has a general racially insulting undertone.
