Dean: I can't mail you the files as they won't get attached to the e-mail. There has to be somethingwrong with the mail program.
Liz: Since you're a useless with computers, I'm pretty sure it's a case of PBCAC.
Debbie: Can you help me? I can't submit this e-form.
Tom: Sure, I'll be over in a sec.
Debbie: Nevermind. PBCAC. I had missed to fill in a mandatory field.
A reference to extreme cold. According to the United States Navy Historical Center, this is a legend of the sea without historical justification. The center has researched this because of the questions it gets and says the term âbrass monkeyâ and a vulgar reference to the effect of cold on the monkeyâs extremities, appears to have originated in the book âBefore the Mastâ by C.A. Abbey published in 1857. It was said that it was so cold that it would âfreeze the tail off a brass monkey.â. The Navy says there is no evidence that the phrase had anything to do with ships or ships with cannon balls.
The first taxi man George encountered in Brooklyn said, "It is cold fit to freeze the balls off a brass monkey."
