an interjection used when someone says something they should not. Anything unfunny, embarassing, or ignorant that renders the speaker particularly deserving of silence.

- Hey did you guys get a chance to read about fashion week in Glamour yet? I love the evening wear on page 47. Here I'll show you. Anybody got a copy?
- ...That's off the air.

- Hey, you comin out wit us Friday?
- Nah. Sorry guys. I think I'm going to stay home and read the Bible this weekend. First John has really got me on the edge of my seat. Thanks though.
- WHAT??? Off the air.
