Someone who attempts to troll, meme or insult another person or group based on either old, out of date information: or just because they are a fan boy and said information has no present basis in fact.

That guy is such a DerpyDan, he is trying to troll but is only doing it because he a fan boy.

Derpy Dan

Someone who refers to outdated references or information that is no longer funny.

Derpy Dan can also refer to a person or persons that make statements or jokes about an event that is untrue, or that did not occur.

Person 1: Hey did you hear John talking about how the cops swatted his neighbors home because the husband was mad that his cheated?

Person 2: No, John is just a Derpy Dan, that is not what happened and he is just trying to make stuff up to get attention.
