Grayt

A metaphorically constructed portmanteau word, it is a product of "great" and "gray," or "grey" if you hold out a pinky as you sip your tea. Either way the latter word is indicated by the "y." It is used to describe an idea, or state of affairs which is good for the time being but has the potential to turn chaotic and troublesome. Hence, great with some ambiguity of fate, indicated by the colour.

I told Catherine that her idea to date Faruq was grayt, because they're both similar in many ways, but we know so little about his background, and the reason for those flashing lights in his jacket.
