A Dave Doze is when a person appears to be asleep on his couch, and things are going on around him, he is even snoring... And then he unexpectedly answers a question or makes a comment that reveals that he is not totally asleep. Infact, he might be catching up on his zzzzz's, he is completely coherent.
I pulled a DaveDoze while napping this afternoon. I listened while my housemates argued over who's turn it was to do dishes. I finally interrupted this chaos and told them who's turn it was. Mine.
Potatoe said really fast. When someone is talking so fast that you can't understand them, this is called "poeto" (pronounced 'pua-toe').
That person was so excited when he talked that it was all "poeto"...
This word, derived from an alien dialect from the future, means 'I understand...' 'Gotcha!' ' I feel ya!' 'It's all good' and/or 'Ahhhhh...' It is a positive word that implies a connection among beings. Their language is very cacophonous and has a lot of x, c, k, s. This is due to their unnatural, technology-based society.

A strong, independent elderly woman who is AWESOME! She is almost 90, and mows her own lawn, upkeeps her own house (which she owns outright), and is one of the most beautiful souls I have ever met (inside and out). She is my one true role model and I am so grateful to know her!
Illene is so freaking cool and I hope I can be more like she is as I age in an ungrateful society that doesn't treat their elders right at all!
