Loresmitten is a portmanteau of lore and smitten; lore refers to story and worldbuilding myth while smitten means being captivated or fascinated by (someone or something). So when a person is loresmitten, it means they are fascinated by stories and world-building myths.

Don't ask why I spent so many hours reading, I'm loresmitten.
