didn't go into BurgerKing

A phrase adopted by youth culture from the cult classic, Pulp Fiction meaning "did not sufficiently research that topic".

In one memorable scene of Quentin Tarrantino's best movie, before he ran out of original ideas, Jules Winnfield, a smooth talking African-American contract killer, describes his trip to Europe to his friend and fellow contract killer, Vincent Vega. He points out the subtle differences between American culture and European culture:

Vincent :But you know what the funniest thing about Europe is?

JULES: What?

VINCENT: It's the little differences. A nlotta the same shit we got here, they got there, but there they're a little different.

JULES: Examples?

VINCENT: Well, in Amsterdam, you can buy beer in a movie theatre. And I don't mean in a paper cup either. They give you a glass of beer, like in a bar. In Paris, you can buy beer at MacDonald's. Also, you know what they call a QuarterPounder with Cheese in Paris?

JULES: They don't call it a Quarter Pounder with Cheese?

VINCENT: No, they got the metric system there, they wouldn't know what the fuck a Quarter Pounder is.

JULES: What'd they call it?

VINCENT: Royale with Cheese.

JULES: What do they call a Whopper?

VINCENT: I dunno, I didn't go into a Burger King.

Usage:

Your girfriend asks: "Dear, did you figure out which home insurance policy we should get."

You reply: I dunno, I didn't go into BurgerKing.

At this point, your girlfriend should understand 2 things. 1) You did not have time to research the topic that she brought up to provide her with a conclusive answer.
2) She should shut up and let you watch the game.

superdomed

Adjective meaning "left in limbo". Mainly used by suburban white kids who think natural disasters only happen to the poor and disadvantaged. Derived from the Katrina hurricane of 2005, which turned New Orleans, Louisiana into Venice of the West. Tens of thousands of Americans, mostly poor African-Americans, were told to evacuate to the SuperDome, a gigantic concrete structure originally designed for New Orlean's professional football team, The Saints.

As the hurricane passed, these dislocated Americans were stranded at the SuperDome without adequate food or medicine. Days later, help arrived... after the President and white corporate America decided that lending a helping hand would be a good PR move and photo op.

Usage: This is whacked, dog. You said you's gonna pick me up at the mall today. I'm superdomed till Mom comes home from work.

good times

A double entendre often used to subtly express displeasure about the current situation one finds oneself in. Most appropriate use is in situations that are not quite untolerable, but not enjoyable either.

Usage: "good times" is often used in a repetitive manner, i.e. "good times, good times".

Example: You are attending your Grandparents' Christmas party. A flirty 90 year old comes over and asks you, "How's it going, young man."

Your polite response, "Oh yeah, good times, good times."
