Swampfoot is the term used to describe the swollen feet and ankles, usually, caused by long distance fliying. Swampfoot occrus when blood pools in the lower extremities, causing fluids to move into the surrounding tissues leaving the foot swollen and disfigured, like someone who has been walking in a swamp barefoot, for days.
