Originating on May 9th 2020, Zuniâs Law describes the phenomena where internet usersâmany of whom have no prior knowledge of the subjectâwill follow any internet trend or bandwagon, and attempt to reproduce it nonsensically in poor quality. Many instances of this law include theft of other peopleâs ideas or work and attempts to rebrand it under the current trend. Zuniâs Law was established by iFunny user Zuniroa following the observation that many iFunny users began writing their own âlawsâ following the popularity of Bidoofâs Law and Garfâs Law. The most famous of these poor-quality laws is Kesâs Law. Kesâs Law differentiates itself from Bidoofâs and Garfâs laws in its idiocy due to the fact that itâs not an original observation of internet behavior, itâs merely a shoddily-made renaming of the Illusory Truth Effect.
Kes: âYo dude these people keep joking about femboys, and now they like femboys! I think I could call this Kesâs Law just like Garfâs Law!â
Sensible Human Being: âThatâs just the Illusory Truth Effect, retard. Zuniâs Law applies here.â
Kes: âWait, isnât Zuniâs Law itself an application of Zuniâs Law?â
Sensible Human Being: âWell, shit. You got me there.â
